awesome-selfhosted
From public sourcesawesome-selfhosted is a curated list of free software network services and web applications you can host on your own servers, a directory for self-hosting enthusiasts.
Overview
Self-hosting means running applications on your own server instead of relying on SaaS providers, but finding reliable, free software for each need is time-consuming. awesome-selfhosted solves that discovery problem by organizing hundreds of Free Software network services and web applications into categories such as analytics, backup, file transfer, media streaming, password managers, VPNs and wikis.
Each entry links to the project, its source code and, where available, a demo, and notes the license and implementation language, so you can compare options quickly. Non-free software is kept separately on its own Non-Free page, which keeps the main list focused on freedom-respecting tools.
The list is aimed at homelab users, system administrators and anyone who wants control over their own data. It is maintained as a community project on GitHub and is also published as an HTML site at awesome-selfhosted.net, the recommended way to browse it.
