blender
From public sourcesBlender is a free, open-source 3D creation suite for modeling, animation, rendering, compositing and video editing, covering the full 3D pipeline in one desktop app.
Overview
Creating 3D content usually means juggling separate tools for modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering and post-production. Blender brings the whole 3D pipeline into a single application, covering modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing, motion tracking and video editing.
Because Blender is free and open source, artists, students and studios can use it without license fees, and developers can read, modify and extend its code. It is distributed as a desktop application for Windows, macOS and Linux, and its source is available on GitHub as an official mirror of the project.
Blender suits independent artists, animation and visual effects teams, game developers and anyone who needs to produce 3D imagery or footage. The project is maintained with public documentation, a reference manual and a community forum for users and contributors.
Note that the mirror repository may require Git LFS, so cloning with GIT_LFS_SKIP_SMUDGE=1 is recommended for the initial clone.
