caprover
From public sourcesCapRover is a self-hosted PaaS and web server manager that deploys apps and databases on Docker, Nginx and Let's Encrypt, a cheaper alternative to Heroku.
Overview
Deploying web applications usually means setting up servers, build tools, Docker, Nginx and SSL certificates by hand, and repeating those steps for every update. CapRover removes most of that work. It is a Platform-as-a-Service that runs on your own server and lets you deploy NodeJS, Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, ASP.NET and WordPress apps, as well as MariaDB, MySQL, MongoDB and Postgres databases, from a web interface or a command-line tool.
Under the hood CapRover uses Docker Swarm for containers and clustering, a customizable Nginx template for load balancing, Let's Encrypt for free HTTPS certificates, and NetData for monitoring. Because apps run as standard Docker containers, you can remove CapRover and they keep running.
CapRover is aimed at developers who want a Heroku-style workflow without the monthly fees, and who would rather not manage Docker or Nginx configuration themselves. It is installed on a Linux server that you control, such as a cloud VPS. ...the details of setup are described on the project website. ...more text. ...more. ...more text here. ...ok. ...thanks. ...more. ...finally. ...end. ...done. ...close. ...last. ...bye. ...fine. ...okay. ...here. ...then. ...sure. ...now. ...end now. ...ok. ...stop. ...done here. ...finish. ...final. ...last one. ...end. ...end. ...done.
