GSAP
From public sourcesGSAP is a framework-agnostic JavaScript animation library for smoothly animating CSS, SVG, canvas and any JavaScript property in the browser.
Overview
Building reliable animations across browsers is hard, because each engine handles timing, transforms and property updates differently. GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) is a JavaScript animation library that handles these inconsistencies for you, so animations behave the same way in every major browser. It can animate CSS, SVG, canvas, React and Vue components, colors, strings, motion paths and generic objects, and it updates values over time with precise sequencing and control.
GSAP includes optional plugins for scroll-driven animation with ScrollTrigger, morphing, text splitting, motion paths and FLIP transitions, plus utility methods such as interpolate() and mapRange(). Its core has zero dependencies and can be loaded from a CDN or installed with npm, and the React package adds a useGSAP() hook for cleanup. Developers building marketing sites, web apps and interactive experiences use it to add motion without a heavy framework. Its license is GreenSock's standard "no charge" license, which covers all plugins at no cost.
GSAP is free for commercial use, including plugins that were previously members-only.
