Overview

Teams often need a shared knowledge base, but many wiki tools are closed, costly or hard to host on their own infrastructure. Wiki.js is a Node.js wiki application that addresses this by giving you a modern, self-hosted place to write, organize and publish documentation. It offers a clean editing experience with Markdown and other editor options, multi-language support, and content syncing with Git, so your pages can stay versioned alongside your code. The project is released under the AGPL-3.0 license and runs on multiple platforms. Wiki.js suits developers, IT and operations teams, and organizations that want full control over their documentation. It is typically deployed on a server or in a container and accessed through a browser.
