Overview
Teams often need to connect many business apps and AI models without writing and maintaining glue code for each one. Activepieces is a no-code automation platform that lets users build flows from triggers and actions, with loops, branches, retries, HTTP requests and custom code.
Integrations are called pieces: TypeScript npm packages that are open source, versioned and can be extended by developers, with hot reloading for local development. Every piece is also available as an MCP server, so LLM clients such as Claude Desktop, Cursor or Windsurf can use them directly. Built-in AI pieces and an AI SDK support agent-style flows.
Developers set up the tools and anyone in an organization can build flows in the builder. It is self-hosted, aimed at teams that want control over their data, and the Community Edition is released under the MIT license.
