Overview

Many organizations run finance, sales, purchasing, inventory and manufacturing on separate tools that do not share data well. iDempiere is an open-source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) suite that brings these business processes into one application. Its architecture is modular, with a plugin system powered by OSGi, and it runs on a Java foundation with PostgreSQL or Oracle databases. The project draws on business logic that evolved from ADempiere and Compiere, refined through years of real-world use by implementors and end users. iDempiere is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, implementors and developers who want to deploy and extend a full business suite themselves. Community support is available through a Google Groups forum and a Mattermost chat channel, and live cloud test sites let you try the system before installing it locally.
