Overview
Many small and mid-sized businesses run accounting, sales, inventory, production and point-of-sale on separate tools that do not share data. ADempiere is an open-source business suite that covers ERP, CRM, MFG, SCM and POS in a single application, so these processes work from the same records.
The project is developed in a community-driven, bazaar-style model that brings together subject matter specialists, technical specialists, implementors and end-users. Its documentation and business process guides describe how the suite is set up and used in practice. The source is released under the GPL-2.0 license.
ADempiere is aimed at organizations that want a self-managed ERP they can inspect, adapt and host themselves, along with the consultants and developers who implement it for them.
