Overview

Support teams often juggle live chat, email, social messages and messaging apps across separate tools, so customers wait and conversations get lost. Chatwoot solves this by collecting all customer conversations into one omnichannel support desk, covering website live chat, email, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, Telegram, Line and SMS. Beyond the shared inbox, Chatwoot includes private notes and @mentions for internal discussion, labels, canned responses, auto-assignment, business hours, contact profiles with interaction history, campaigns, a Help Center portal for self-service articles, CSAT and conversation reports, and integrations with Slack, Shopify, Dialogflow and Linear. Its Captain AI agent can automate routine answers. Chatwoot is aimed at businesses that want to keep control of their customer data. It can be self-hosted and deployed with Docker, Heroku, DigitalOcean or other options, and it is released under the MIT License.
