Overview

Non-profit, advocacy and non-governmental groups often track donors, members and supporters in spreadsheets or tools that were not built for their work. CiviCRM is a constituent relationship management system designed for exactly these organizations, giving them one place to manage contacts, relationships and their interactions with supporters. CiviCRM is released as a standalone PHP web application and as a module that runs inside the Backdrop, Drupal, Joomla and WordPress content management systems. It is licensed under AGPL-3.0 and coordinated by CiviCRM LLC, and its documentation, installation guides and community support are available on the project website. It suits administrators, developers and integrators who want to run a self-hosted CRM for fundraising and membership work. Installation instructions and paid support from providers are published by the project.
