tldraw

Building a canvas-based app from scratch means handling zoom, pan, shape selection, drawing tools and real-time state yourself. tldraw provides a feature-complete infinite canvas engine for React so developers can start from a working foundation instead. The SDK includes pressure-sensitive drawing, geometric shapes, rich text, arrows with snapping and bindings, image and video support, image export and an Editor API for driving the canvas at runtime. Custom shapes, tools, UI components and event hooks can be added to create a tailored experience. Multiplayer collaboration is available through the self-hostable @tldraw/sync package. It is aimed at product teams and developers building whiteboards, diagramming tools or AI-powered canvas interfaces. Install it with npm, render the Tldraw component in a React app, or start from one of the MIT-licensed starter kits. Production use requires a license key, while development use is free.
